What is a CMDE?
A Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (CMDE) is a required assessment in Minnesota that determines eligibility and medical necessity for Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) services.
It’s the essential first step in accessing life-changing support for individuals under age 21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related developmental conditions.
